We love this gym!! We tried out several more expensive models at the store but ultimately we liked this one the best. Here are some of the features that convinced us to purchase it: *The gym performs all of the exercises that we were looking for, and then some. *The cables glide silently and smoothly through the pulleys. *It's footprint is very small and it takes up very little space. *It's very stable, strong and sturdy. *With it's welded together, stylized frame, it's much more high-end looking then the screwed together units selling for twice as much. It's really an attractive piece of equipment to have in your home! Like the last reviewer mentioned, Sears does sell this gym for less than half this price. Unfortunately trying to locate one is almost impossible. We managed to pick up one of the last ones in northern Ohio (Michigan was all out) this week. It came with the necessary tools, (although I choose to use my husband's combination wrench to make sure that the nuts were snugged down tight) the small parts are very well organized and the instructions were pretty clear. This is the same as the Horizon SXS 5.7 I bought from sears on sale for less than 1/2 the price. Before you begin making purchases, plan the workout space in your house in a spare room, a finished basement, or at the back of the garage.
