Its called interval training. Also known as HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Its where you combine a very high energy spurt such as a sprint or exercise bike sprint with a rest period or a lower intensity period. for e.g you could do 30 seconds of running on a treadmill followed by 2-3 minutes of slow jogging. Then repeat this for 20 minutes.

Combine this type of training with eating 5 - 6 small meals every 2.5 - 3 hour intervals, eating more protein, less saturated fat, more complex carbohydrates, and more omega 3 fats and you'll be on you're way to being the guy or gal who everyone is jealous of.
